Summary:
This innovative, heartfelt debut novel tells the story of a girl who’s literally allergic to the outside world. When a new family moves in next door, she begins a complicated romance that challenges everything she’s ever known. The narrative unfolds via vignettes, diary entries, texts, charts, lists, illustrations, and more.
My disease is as rare as it is famous. Basically, I’m allergic to the world. I don’t leave my house, have not left my house in seventeen years. The only people I ever see are my mom and my nurse, Carla.
But then one day, a moving truck arrives next door. I look out my window, and I see him. He's tall, lean and wearing all black—black T-shirt, black jeans, black sneakers, and a black knit cap that covers his hair completely. He catches me looking and stares at me. I stare right back. His name is Olly.
Maybe we can’t predict the future, but we can predict some things. For example, I am certainly going to fall in love with Olly. It’s almost certainly going to be a disaster.

My Honest Review:
This story just took my breath away, it was phenomenal. The plot was just amazing. I can't put it into words how good this story is. YOU HAVE GOT TO READ THIS BOOK. When it comes out. Its just amazing, truly amazing. This story was perfect I would not change a thing about it. The image you get in your head its just so emotional, Your body goes through so many emotions. You just have to read it.  When this book comes out I plan on picking a copy up because I just have to reread it. I do not usually reread books but this one it was just THAT good that you will want to reread it.
It was unique, Not at all like other stories out there. I have read alot of books so far this year. This one is my absolute FAVORITE OF THE YEAR so far. I cannot stop raving at how much I love this book.
The characters, I loved them. The ending was so different than other stories. I had no idea how this story would end. Because stuff happens in this book that I wasn't expecting. I know what I wanted to happen and it kinda did happen but in a different way.
It talks alot about SCID which I didn't know alot about, but this explains it alot. Im glad I got to learn some about it.
This is a young adult, contemporary, romance, realistic fiction story. I would give this book a million stars.
5+ stars
Quotes:
Love is worth everything. Everything.”
“The only thing I know for sure is that this, being here with Olly, being able to love him and be loved by him, is everything.”
“We are lips and arms and legs and bodies entangled. He raises himself above me and we are wordless, and then we are joined and moving silently. We are joined and I know all of the secrets of the universe.”
“You can't predict the future. It turns out that you can't predict the past either. Time moves in both directions - forward and backward - and what happens here and now changes them both.”
