Summary:
Between all the parties and random hook-ups, Fallon Carr is this close to flunking out of college. But her internship working with pediatric patients means the world to her—especially since, at the end of the summer, one lucky intern will be offered a paid position. Determined to leave her bad reputation behind, Fallon even takes a bet that she won’t sleep with anyone from work. But there’s one little catch. . . .

Not only is Cade Ryan the hottest guy Fallon has ever laid eyes on, he’s a therapy dog handler who volunteers his time to visit kids at the hospital. So when he starts pursuingher, Fallon can’t believe her bad timing. The thing is, Cade is different. He’s not like the college guys who see her as a one-night stand, or the high-school boyfriend who took a part of her she can never get back. Cade genuinely wants to spend time with her—and not just between the sheets.

Fallon won’t let her growing feelings for Cade get in the way of her dreams. Besides, no guy can break down the walls she put up long ago. So what’s the harm in a little flirting? It’s not like she’s falling in love. But she may have seriously underestimated how complicated things can get when the perfect guy falls for her first.

My Honest Opinion:
This story was just as good as the 1st book. I love these companion novels. They are so cute and so steamy. They were just so great to read. I love books you just cant stop reading. This was one of them.
Cade as a book boyfriend was so great to read. I just loved how easily he was described. He was hot and handsome, with huge muscles. He is the ultimate book boyfriend. Then Fallon was also described as a hottie, she is a partier likes to hook up with different men. She has a few problems. Which I liked how Cade and Fallon worked together. It made their relationship strong.
I love how this author writes her books. This is her second book I have read by this author. It was just so good and easy to read. I cannot wait to read book 3 in this series.
This is a sexy steamy type of book. So if your not into steamy sex scenes dont read it. There isnt like alot of them but there are a few. Some of the scenes are swoon worthy and they really get to emotionally. Cade is just this sweet romantic guy. It really gets to you. I just fell in love with Cade and Fallon in this story. This is a must read series.
This is a new adult contemporary romance. Its definately New Adult because they are in college. MUST READ!!! Totally worth it.

  • My Honest Review:
  • This was such a great story. From the beginning I fell in love with it. I love how everything played out. I love how I just got captured in the story. I zoned completely out with this story. While it was playing in my head. I love when that happens.
I love how this story involved twins, and not just regular brother and sister. Involving twins was just a great addition to the story. This story is so powerful because its basically true. Something like this can happen in real life. Thats what makes it so powerful.
The part where Maddy dies and Ella got hurt, it was just so sad and broke your heart. When you imagine something like that happening in real life it can be just as devastating. My favorite part was the ending, it was just so good. It made you feel good while reading it. I just couldnt put the book down when I got to the ending. This book just made you fall in love with it. It was so raw and so powerful. I loved it.
I have never read anything else by this author so I cannot wait to read other stories by her. I just fell in love with how this story played out. It really got your emotions on overdrive.
This is a young adult, contemporary, realistic, mystery.

  • Publisher: Random House Children's Books
  • Publication date: 9/1/2015
  • Pages: 320
Summary:
This innovative, heartfelt debut novel tells the story of a girl who’s literally allergic to the outside world. When a new family moves in next door, she begins a complicated romance that challenges everything she’s ever known. The narrative unfolds via vignettes, diary entries, texts, charts, lists, illustrations, and more.
My disease is as rare as it is famous. Basically, I’m allergic to the world. I don’t leave my house, have not left my house in seventeen years. The only people I ever see are my mom and my nurse, Carla.
But then one day, a moving truck arrives next door. I look out my window, and I see him. He's tall, lean and wearing all black—black T-shirt, black jeans, black sneakers, and a black knit cap that covers his hair completely. He catches me looking and stares at me. I stare right back. His name is Olly.
Maybe we can’t predict the future, but we can predict some things. For example, I am certainly going to fall in love with Olly. It’s almost certainly going to be a disaster.

My Honest Review:
This story just took my breath away, it was phenomenal. The plot was just amazing. I can't put it into words how good this story is. YOU HAVE GOT TO READ THIS BOOK. When it comes out. Its just amazing, truly amazing. This story was perfect I would not change a thing about it. The image you get in your head its just so emotional, Your body goes through so many emotions. You just have to read it.  When this book comes out I plan on picking a copy up because I just have to reread it. I do not usually reread books but this one it was just THAT good that you will want to reread it.
It was unique, Not at all like other stories out there. I have read alot of books so far this year. This one is my absolute FAVORITE OF THE YEAR so far. I cannot stop raving at how much I love this book.
The characters, I loved them. The ending was so different than other stories. I had no idea how this story would end. Because stuff happens in this book that I wasn't expecting. I know what I wanted to happen and it kinda did happen but in a different way.
It talks alot about SCID which I didn't know alot about, but this explains it alot. Im glad I got to learn some about it.
This is a young adult, contemporary, romance, realistic fiction story. I would give this book a million stars.
5+ stars
Quotes:
Love is worth everything. Everything.”
“The only thing I know for sure is that this, being here with Olly, being able to love him and be loved by him, is everything.”
“We are lips and arms and legs and bodies entangled. He raises himself above me and we are wordless, and then we are joined and moving silently. We are joined and I know all of the secrets of the universe.”
“You can't predict the future. It turns out that you can't predict the past either. Time moves in both directions - forward and backward - and what happens here and now changes them both.”
