Review: Pushing the Limits

Pushing the Limits Pushing the Limits by Katie McGarry
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This story was just beyond good. I cant believe it took me so long to pick it up. It was just an incredible story. I cannot believe I loved it as much as I did. The emotion and the realism in this story was just phenomenal. It was so on point and so easy to read and fall in love with. I just loved it so much.
The characters in the story just flowed so easily together. It was such a fast paced story. It was just so real. Like something like this could happen in real life. I am sure it probably has. But I just got so involved in this story and I didnt want to put it down.
The way Katie McGarry talked about love, loss, depression, bipolar etc. was wonderful. She did a fantastic job putting all that into the lives of Echo and Noah. I just completely love the story. It will make you laugh and cry and just be full emotions during the whole story. I just cannot explain it enough how great the debut novel of Katie McGarry is. You just have to read this to fall in love with it yourself.

Review: First & Then

First & Then First & Then by Emma Mills
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I enjoyed this story. It was so sweet and cute. I didnt know it was a pride and prejudice kind of retelling with Friday Night Lights mixed in. I have never read pride and prejudice. So on that end I dont know if it lives up to it. But I could see some Friday Night Lights involvement in here.
I kind of didnt like the writing style it was just different and really hard for me to really enjoy the characters. But about halfway to three quarters into it I started falling in love with the characters. They finally clicked with me. And it became really intriguing. So it was still really good. But just hard to get into at first.
I loved the whole first love aspect to the story. It was funny and sweet. Charming. This is very easy to fly through. Because its 250 pages. So a quick read. There is 1 thing I want with this story. I want Marabelle's prospective. Who got her pregnant. Why she is the way she is? Im interested in hearing her story. She isnt a big part of the story but she was a very interesting person to this story.
Overall, I really enjoyed it. I cant wait to see what Emma Mills writes next.

Review: Some Kind of Wonderful

Some Kind of Wonderful Some Kind of Wonderful by Debbie Macomber
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I have read the updated version of the story. This story took me a couple chapters to get into. I enjoyed but its not my favorite book by this author. The character were ok after you get past the first 2 chapters. But after awhile it got really good for me. It wasnt as good as other books. But the plot and all I loved. They didnt mesh as well as they should. Overall I like it though. This is a Beauty and the Beast retelling. Which I love that story so much. I do think she uses the word Beauty and Beast way too much in this story. But overall a good story. I highly recommend all Debbie Macomber books because they are all good and enjoyable.

Review: Four: A Divergent Story Collection

Four: A Divergent Story Collection Four: A Divergent Story Collection by Veronica Roth
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I enjoyed going back into this world from before the beginning of divergent with the characters. Finding out Four's life. But its exactly what I thought it would be. So their was nothing too exciting about this story for me. It was kind of disappointing. I did enjoy reliving those characters again. But it didnt live up to what I thought it was. There was 1 story that was alot better than others. There were no real suprises for me. But the last short story was alot better than the first three. I dont want to give anything away by telling what each short story is about. But I just feel like you really didnt need this book. Its great seeing Four's side everything though. I just wish there was alot more to the story. The last short story has a couple of little things for me. Which really brought up the star rating. So that was good. I would still suggest reading it if you like Divergent so much. But it just wasnt the best.

Review: Every Last Word

Every Last Word Every Last Word by Tamara Ireland Stone
My rating: 0 of 5 stars

This was so so good. This story had me on a rollercoaster. It starts off easy to jump into the characters are just easy to love. Such an easy story to read. The way this writer tells her story is just phenomenal.
Anxiety is a really hard topic to talk about. There are many forms of anxiety. I have a small case of it. Which mine is nowhere near as bad as Sam's in this book. I love how Tamara told the story of her Anxiety issues.
The plot twist left me astonished. I had to just stop reading for a little while and collect my thoughts. Its one of those type of stories. I literally had no words to describe how I felt. It was just crazy but it was a good kind of crazy your just left stunned for awhile. Once you get over that part its played out so well. I just love this author. I cannot wait to see what else she writes.
This story is a must read. You just have to pick it up and see what your missing.
